It became clear that within the next 24 months our group would have to transform our naturopathic medical practice into a center adapted to the present era of digital medicine.
I was apprehensive, though. I had been a late adopter of business-focused social media and electronic health records. I took little interest in the thought of integrating medicine, so imagine my feelings about stuff like digital platforms. However, the thought of not integrating, not utilizing these technologies, was of far greater concern to the future of my practice. I would have to adapt.
I concluded that my practice needed more modern ways to connect with patients. There’s email, sure, but, preferably, I wanted my patients to be able to communicate with me via their mobile devices. More frequent and personalized communication will bring about higher-quality patient care during and between office visits, along with enhanced compliance.
I met Tom Bishop and Dan Taffe over a series of meetings, and they turned me from a late adopter of yesterday’s technology to an early adopter or tomorrow’s with Zendoks.
Zendoks has done even more than I could have imagined from the standpoint of technology, as it’s now the critical communication component used in my practice. Zendoks also allows me to build personalized and group programs for my patients. And though this was not an original factor in my search for enhancements to my practice, Zendoks has also had a positive and significant impact on the financial aspects of my practice.
